Parents and professionals supporting young people often anguish over the risky situations teenagers can fall into once they explore the world of love relationships.  They want to be a source of valuable information and support, but often come up against barriers, not least of all because of the major changes in the dating world over the past couple of decades.

Adults understand, sometimes from bitter experience, that when things go wrong in intimate relationships, the consequences can be life changing. They worry about young people’s ability to deal with rejection, to navigate intimacy and to keep themselves safe.
